Program
The conference will start with an opening lecture on Monday, 28 September 2015, 7:00 p.m. and will finish on Friday, 2 October 2015, after lunch, 1:30 p.m. The opening lecture will be followed by a get-together dinner. The scientific program of the conference will consist of a number of plenary sessions and a panel discussion (Thursday, 1 October 2015, afternoon) dedicated to dipole bound anions and pi-sigma* states as two complementary approaches modelling early stages of electron-molecule interactions. Every regular session will typically include a plenary lecture, an invited lectures and 3-4 short oral communications. In addition, a poster session will be organised. We plan the following sessions:
- Nanoscale light-matter interactions - Opening Session
- Excited state dynamics
- Charge transfer and structure
- Old problems, new challenges
- Wonderful world of unusual matter and light
- Spectroscopic techniques and new materials
On Wednesday morning, 30 September, we plan an excursion (8.00 am - 1.00 p.m.) to Belianska Cave in Slovakia. Please remember to take appropriate shoes and clothing with you.
After the panel discussion, on Thursday, 1 October, 8:00 p.m., a conference dinner with local folklore elements will take place in a restaurant located some 10 minutes walk from the conference site.
