Wisła (city web pages) is a small city and holiday resort in southern Poland, near the border with Czech Republic. It is situated in a mountain valley in the middle of the Silesian Beskids range. Wisła is also the Polish name for the Vistula River, which has its source in the mountains near the town.

Wisła can be reached by train or bus from the railway station in Bielsko Biała or Zebrzydowice, 40 km away each. Train timetables can be found here. Nearest airports are: Katowice Pyrzowice, 126 km from Wisła, Kraków Balice, 156 km from Wisła, and Ostrava (Czech Republic), 70 km from Wisła.

The most convenient train from Warsaw (EIC 105 - SOBIESKI) departs at 12:40 from Warszawa Centralna station and arrives in Zebrzydowice at 16:19.

Conference bus from Zebrzydowice to Wisła

Conference busses for participants arriving by train on Friday, June 19^th and Sunday, June 21^st to Zebrzydowice will be available. The busses will depart from the train station at about 16:30.

Please express your interest in the conference bus during the on-line registration procedure.

Return busses will be provided on Friday, June 26^th, to meet the EC 104 train from Zebrzydowice to Warsaw (departure at 11:38, arrival at Warszawa Centralna station at 15:30). The busses will leave from Hotel Stok at 10:00.
