Main subject of research:
Studies of magnetic properties and galvanomagnetic effects in diverse soft magnetic materials, spin-glasses and nanostructures (static and dynamic effects, magnetization processes and domain structures, anisotropy and magnetostriction, magnetoimpedance and magnetoresistivity, phase transitions and relaxation processes). Search for new physical phenomena arising from the reduced dimensionality, new material combinations (unique properties arising from the combination of particular properties of constituents due to proximity effects), surface/interface phenomena. Selected aspects of biomagnetism, research for integration of the biological, organic and magnetic entities - investigations of molecular magnets, surface modified nanoparticles, ferrofluids as well as magnetic entities in organo-metallic complexes and biological molecules for biotechnology and medical applications.
