In collaboration with experimental groups from Italy and Poland, we demonstrated the first functional neuromorphic polariton networks performing machine learning tasks. In the two papers published in Nano Letters, we have shown that polariton neural networks are able to perform handwritten digit recognition and classification at high accuracy rates. The architectures of the networks were based on reservoir computing and binarized network schemes, respectively. Read more here and here.
