Garnets

Garnets Gd₃Ga₅O₁₂, Y₃Ga₅O₁₂, Gd₃Sc₂Ga₃O₁₂ and Gd₃Sc₂Al₃O₁₂ doped with various optically active elements were grown using Czochralski method. Structural and spectroscopic measurements were performed.
Single crystal growth on oriented crystal seed. Transparent crystals with 20 mm of the diameter were grown from the 40 mm Ir cruicible.

Obtained crystals:

• Garnets doped with cerium:
  Gadolinum gallium garnet - Gd₃Ga₅O₁₂ : Ce 0.5 at%, 3 at% and 5 at%
  Yttrium gallium garnet - Y₃Ga₅O₁₂ : Ce 0.5 at%, 3 at% and 5 at%
  
  
  
  
• Garnets doped with neodymium:
  Gadolinum scandium gallium garnet - Gd₃Sc₂Ga₃O₁₂ : 0.5 at% Nd
  
• Garnets doped with ytterbium:
  Gadolinum scandium aluminum garnet - Gd₃Sc₂Al₃O₁₂ : 0.5 at%, 2 at% and 2.7 at% Yb
