LOCATION AND CLIMATE

The tourist village of Jaszowiec belongs to the Ustron spa, located in Beskidy mountains in the Southern part of Poland, about 30 km from Bielsko-Biala (150 km South-West from Kraków).

In June, the weather is usually warm and pleasant, with the temperature reaching up to 25° C and rather cool nights. Nevertheless, sudden changes including rains and drops of day temperature under 10° C are not exceptional. The sport shoes for mountain hiking are recommended.

Attention! The timetable has been updated on May, 25.
Please, notice the following changes with respect to the timetable published in the 2nd circular:
1. The departure times for the Inter City (train 1407) Warszawa- Bielsko Biala are five minutes earlier now
2. The connection from Krakow to Katowice is now 40 minutes earlier (train D37100)

On June 14 (Sunday) the school bus will be waiting for the participants in front of the railway station in Bielsko-Biala starting from 18.30 up to 19.20.

Participants, who will not travel with this bus, can take train. The nearest railway station to the Hotel Gwarek (about 2 km) is Ustron-Polana on the railway line Katowice–Wisla.

There are also bus connections from Katowice, and Bielsko Biala, with bus-stops near the stations. Taxi is available from Bielsko-Biala to Jaszowiec, at cost about 100/160 PLN (30/50 USD; prices are for day/ night service).
