Jaszowiec 2004 Pre-School

Courses in Semiconductor Physics (an additional tutorial session) for students will take place just before the School, during the weekend May 29/30, 2004, co-organized by Foundation "Pro Physica".

The two-day course will be devoted to subjects related to "quantum information processing". The aim of the tutorial session is to introduce students and newcomers to this field of research where semiconducting compounds are one of the promising systems to make working devices.

As it has been the case of twelve Courses organized previously, a limited number of grants to cover the participation in the Courses and the School will be offered for students from Europe chosen by the International Selection Committee.

Applications for support should be submitted by the students' supervisors before March 1st, 2004 to an appropriate member of the Selection Committee or directly to the Chairman of the Tutorial Session:
