Scope, topics and participants:

The workshop is planned for about 35 participants including 12 invited key-speakers, about 10 experts and 12-15 PhD students both from Poland and abroad. The list of key-speakers of the workshop is given below. We also plan to have about 10 posters presenting the current progress in the field. The goal is to provide instruction and exchange of ideas in the area of new diluted magnetic semiconductor and hybrid structures – materials important for emerging field of spintronics.

Venue:

The workshop will be organized in the Palace in Obory located in Konstancin-Jeziorna a residential village 20km south of Warsaw. Participants from abroad will be accommodated in the hotel of our Institute (Al. Lotników 32/46, 02-668 Warsaw). We will provide a transportation by a van between the hotel and the workshop site.

Language:

The workshop language is English.

Finance:

The full cost of the invited participants in the workshop (covering the transportation to/from Poland as well as board and lodging in Warsaw) will be covered from the funds of the CELDIS Center of Excellence established in the Institute of Physics Polish Academy of Sciences by the European Commission within the 5^th Framework.
