Jaszowiec 2006 Pre-School
A special tutorial session in semiconductor
physics will take place
just before the
School, during the
weekend June 17/18, 2006.
It is co-organized by the Foundation
"Pro Physica".
The headline of this year two-day course is
Novel Quantum Devices
The aim of this tutorial session is to introduce students and
newcomers to the future generation of semiconductor devices
based on quantum effects. The principles of operation of selected
novel quantum-based electronic devices will be presented. We will
discuss emerging approaches to creating new types of quantum-based
electronic devices and systems.
As in the case of the past fourteen Pre-Schools, a limited number
of grants to cover the participation in the Courses and in
the School will be offered for students recommended by the
International Selection Committee.
Applications for support should be submitted by the students'
supervisors before March 17th, 2006 to an appropriate member
of the Selection Committee or directly to the Chairman of the
Tutorial Session:
