for the development of Polish quantum research

Eight national scientific institutions, leading in the field of quantum computing and quantum technologies, including the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, have signed a letter of intent on the coordination of activities for the development of Polish quantum research.

The signatories of the letter are the University of Warsaw, the University of Gdańsk, the Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Jagiellonian University, the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, the University of Wroc³aw Technology and the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. These institutions have many years of experience in establishing Polish research centers in the field of atomic physics, optics and quantum computing.

The idea behind this action is to create a platform for talks with public authorities on creating systemic support for research and technology development in this field.
